Sketchbook of Dreams (album release)

Sketchbook of Dreams is a project led by The Hague based and award winning saxophonist Tom van der Zaal and is a collaboration between jazz quartet and string orchestra. The 16 piece formations features leading artists in the international jazz- and classical music scene. The music can be decribed best as lyrical, melancholic, intense, accessible, cinematic, romantic, swinging, rooted and always in search of a collective sound and forward motion. Sketchbook of Dreams has the ability to entrance with influences from musical genres such as: classical, Brazilian-, film music and jazz without losing the strong identity of the Dutch saxophonist.

His previous album ''Introducing Tom van der Zaal - Time Will Tell'' featuring New York based guitarist Peter Bernstein, received internationally acclaimed credits such as:
